Job Title: Barista

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, positive, and team-oriented Barista to join our team. This role is essential to daily operations and requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, matcha beverages, and seasonal specialty drinks with consistency and quality
Follow drink recipes and presentation standards
Take customer orders and handle payments using POS system
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace
Assist with opening and closing duties
Support kitchen team when needed (including light prep or packaging)
Keep up with high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy and speed
Provide friendly, welcoming customer service at all times

Requirements

Availability to work shifts starting at 8:00 AM
Weekend availability is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Strong communication and time management skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Previous barista or food service experience
Familiarity with espresso machines, milk steaming, and matcha preparation
Experience in high-volume environments

This position includes a 2-week introductory period to ensure a good fit for both the team and the employee. Employment is at-will, and either party may end employment at any time.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
